Transfer Credit Guides

Students who have earned an A.A. degree at an accredited community college will (if admitted as a degree-seeking student to Simpson College) be awarded 60-64 semester credits toward their Simpson degree and be classified as "juniors" if they have 61.01 credit hours. Transferred courses will also be evaluated in terms of specific requirements. Any student considering a transfer to Simpson may meet with the transfer director to learn exactly what requirements remain to earn a B.A. degree.

Simpson has course articulations and cornerstone guides for several Iowa community colleges which show how classes will transfer to Simpson. Credit evaluations are generated quickly upon request and are automatically completed for applicants.
