Financial assistance opportunities for international students based on either financial need or academic success are limited.  The cost of medical insurance will be charged to your account unless you provide proof of adequate medical insurance coverage.  Proof of insurance should be sent to the office of admissions by July 1 for students applying for fall semester or by November 15 for students applying for spring semester.  You will need to arrange for the financing of your travel to the United States.

If you are academically accepted to the college, prior to our issuing you an I-20, you would need to make financial arrangements.  This includes a deposit of $1000.00 (U.S. Currency) made to the College to be credited to your account.  When you arrive on campus, you must have the balance of the first semester's costs available to the College, whether they be exact costs or estimated.  Only through this policy can we be certain that financial hardships for our international students are eliminated.

International Student Grant
The International Student Grant is awarded to international students who demonstrate strong academic potential and bring cultural diversity to Simpson's campus. The student must reside on campus. To be considered for this grant, students must complete the application for admission, the Simpson College International Student Financial Assistance Application, the Foreign Student Financial Aid Application and the Foreign Student Certification of Finances, and be admitted to Simpson College as a full-time student.

Simpson Multi-Cultural Grant
The Simpson Multi-Cultural Grant is awarded to multi-cultural students with high educational goals and an outstanding academic record who have demonstrated leadership qualities in school, community and/or church activities. It is awarded to outstanding students from various cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
