Welcome to the Simpson College Campus Activities Board (C.A.B.). The purpose of C.A.B. is to serve as the primary student programming body at Simpson College. As such, it is responsible for the presentation of a diverse and varied programming calendar meeting the social, recreational, cultural and intellectual needs of the student body of Simpson College. As such, C.A.B. strives to address and incorporate the needs of all students in preparing a comprehensive program schedule. C.A.B. also strives to promote school unity and spirit through activities and programs, as well as providing an opportunity for students to socialize and experience new things. Funded by student government, C.A.B. seeks to provide inexpensive entertainment and out-of-the-classroom learning opportunities. Additionally, C.A.B. strives to help develop campus community through the inclusion of staff, faculty, alumni, parents and the Indianola community in appropriate programming efforts.
One of the main areas that C.A.B. is responsible is for the late night program known as STORMY NIGHTS. Check it out. There are plenty of things to do that you will keep you going all weekend long.
Is live entertainment more what your into? If so, then check out who is coming to Simpson College on the UPCOMING EVENTS web page. Past performers who were here before and after they were stars include ANT, Bobby Lee (MADTV), Margaret Cho, Howie Day, Matt Nathanson, Antigone Rising and John Heffron (Last Comic Standing winner) just to name a few.
